Quinn is riding in another car with Ramirez driving, she's flipping through the police document. Reviewing Joker she's intensely focused, on the file. Ramirez speak's to her asking if she's ok...

Quinn: Yes, really just mesmerized, and stricken by all of this....What a man, I honestly do not understand how anyone could commit all these crimes, and still be alive.

Ramirez: It's our system, we take the crimnal's off the street's. Then Instead of letting Justice be served, we find way's to find better use of their talent.... Quite arbitrary! But it is, what it is.

Quinn:Yes..... I cant quite figure him out but well one thing's for sure....

Ramirez: What is that Ms.Quinn?

Quinn: I really need a nice cup of milk, and im ready to call it a night.

Ramirez: oh come on! heh It's been a fun couple of days, dont tell me your ready to quit?

Quinn: No.. Not in the slightest.... But I am tired. I am ready for bed!

She look's out the window, and see's the the moon in the sky.Tetch is shown working taking his leave from the factory, as lance confront's him on his way out.

Gordon: Well this has been another interesting night, to say the least. It differs from from last night, no Robberies, however, we did make it trough the night, without any casualties. Although the Mayor is missing.... You wouldn't know anything about that, now would you?

Batman: That's news to me.... I dont know anything about his sudden disappearance.

Gordon: I wish I could believe that. But with you being spotted last night, Garcia missing, and you being apprehended as we attempt to interview, one of the most insane men alive. Everything points to you!

Batman: Look ive been here.... I have the mark's to show it!

Gordon: That's another thing... fighting the law???? Sorry but that makes you look even more guilty!

Batman: I just wanted to make sure no one was going to try and break out Joker.

Gordon:Right!

Gordon's phone ring's.

Gordon: Yes we are on our way to holding,although, we caught Batman tonight. Unfortunantaly, the Mayor is now missing. This all become one big mess. Well, Dont wait up for me.

Gordon hang's up the phone.

Batman: Ok so.... Think aboutt this.....Why would I have anything to do with the store or warehouse, then come to the Prison, it just doesnt make sense....

Gordon: Maybe you used them as some type of Marage??? Maybe because you had already moved everything out.... Maybe your going to use the Mayor the same way.....

Batman: LOOK! I dont know what your talking about! Believe me!

Gordon: I truly wish I could believe that..... But you were spotted, there.....Here..... I just cant take your word this time.... Your holding, until we figure out what to do with you.

Batman: I cant believe you! It's not me, but this is just the tip of the Ice berg! Thing's will just get wor....

Gordon:Be careful what you say.... Because, remember your in custody and Right now, your only coming across as threatening! Everything you say can and will be used in a court of law.

Gordon: Your guess is as good as mine, however, thats what I intend to get to the Bottom of.....Ramirez I assume we have men down at the Mayors office?

They all are walking and talking, as one by one. They exit the room....Still walking....

Ramirez: Of coarse.... Our man concern is how they got inside....We already know they managed to shut off the power. I have men searching that out. Looks as if that was a breaker... But he may have had inside help....We are not sure honestly....

Gordon: Alright, I want lists of names, on every worker over there..... We will just have to inspect everyone....

At the factory, Josh is introducing tetch to his shift manager Ralph.

Josh: Tetch how was that food?

Tetch:Tasty. I'm still hungry....Though, kind of odd.

Josh:Well we will need to get you more food!(Ralph walks up) Tetch this is Ralph!

 

 

Tetch: Quite a tidy fellow arnt you?

Ralph: Excuse me??? I guess.... Yeah man, whatever makes you happy!

Tetch: Heh!!! We are going to have so much fun!!!

Josh: Ok, well im going to leave you two... Ralph, I dont want him on that machine, until your a hundred percent sure he's ready!

Ralph: Alright Josh.....

Josh: Good! Ill be seeing you two.... Oh... Tetch.... Dont forget, we have to get your physical in before you call it a day!

Tetch: Of coarse not!

Josh walks away as Ralph proceeds to show Tetch the lever's and how everything functions. During the food process.

Ralph: Ok, it's very important that your fast! Basically, the food will be coming very fast on one conveyer. You will Take it off the belt and Brucex it. The Brucex's are positioned in the front of you, it's on a timer, so the Machine know's when you should be finished packing. You will Brucex the food, then place it on the conveyer to your right. It's very important you be very Maticulous, and fast. You will have five minutes to gather the food, five minutes to pack it. If you should run our stomp the red foot pedal, on the floor, ok?

Tetch: Oh yes!

Ralph:Whtever Kid.... Dont screw around, I do not need another Dumbass!

Tetch: Oh I want, to much.

Ralph: You mess this up kid, and it's your ass, not mine, got it?

Tetch: Heh Whatever.....Yeah ill get it!

Ralph: What? Ok Kid your on your on, ill come back and check on you in a bit. Remember...

Tetch: I know the red lever, on the floor! Or is it the other....

Ralph: What?

Tetch: hahahah....

Ralph: I can tell your not going to last!

Tetch: Or maybe you want.

Ralph: Whatever Kid. Dont screw with me. You DONT want to do that!

Tetch Smiles, as Ralph walks away, Ralph presses a button, and the conveyer begins to turn. Batman is shown in the back of a police car, still in costume. But stripped of all of his weaponry. Chief Gordon is seen entering the car as he shut's the door. Batman set's up in surprise. The Driver begin's to pull away, Gordon's attention turns to Batman, and their discussion begins.

Joker is running his mouth as the men force him through the door..... As he takes his departure, Gordon and Quinn are startled by the door to the room being flung open...... Bill and Ramirez are rushing in!!! Gordon and Quinn have a sense of concern on their faces, as they stand. Ramirez continues to initiate the conversation.

Ramirez: Sir!!! We caught Batman his war tactics were not enough..... Our sniper got a shot in on him, straight in the shoulder!!!! After that he was putty in our hands.....

Gordon:Wow, and another exciting night in the beautiful city of Gotham!

Ramirez: Well im afraid theres more, and he's not talking..... We think the Mayor is missing. His wife called worried, wanting to know where he was, and theres no sign of his car, anywhere. Batman has said he will only talk to you....

Gordon: He or someone seems to have captured the Mayor.... He had to have had help..... I'll see if I can get him to talk... Where is he now?

Ramirez: We have him in one of the car's outside.....

Gordon:Ok, GOOD! Ms.Quinn we better take our leave....... When we get back you can go ahead and leave for the night. Ill conduct the next interview.

Ms.Quinn: Yes Sir! I have to wonder, how did the cities great hope, go from most loved. To crime?

At this time the Mayor is leaving his office. He walk's out of his office. When walking out side, he thinks he hears something. But turns around and see's nothing. Walking briskly, into the parking area positioned by the office. He walk's up to his car then hears foot steps, he turns frightened. Two men enter from the Darkness, knocking open the door, Garcia is startled, then a man with a nice top hat, and a cane enters. Standing in the middle between the two men.

Man:Up with your hands and out with your papers!

The man takes his cane. Walk's over to Garcia and smakes him across the face with the tip, as his documents fall to the ground. A man bends down inspecting the papers.

Man:This is our case.....

Garcia:What the Hell, you'll be prosecuted, Who are you assholes??

Man: The silence is broken by a whisper, as essence is of the thought, my name is a question, the answer you will toss! (Man reaches into the Mayors pocket. pulling out his keys.) Mind if we take your car, we may need some security clearances, and I suggest you do what I wish. Or I'l kill your wife! Still wanna Know my name?

Garcia:What is it?

Man: EXACTLY! Hahah Grab him!

 

Riddler, and the men take the Mayor hostage, and all enter the car.

Man: Call me Riddler.

Scene's change back to Quinn.

Quinn: So then answer me......why the Rush?

Joker: No rush Georgeous!!! Just me..... But if your that worked up.... Maybe Gordon will let you come to my personal room... For a little... One on One Counseling..... What do you think Gordon????

 

Gordon: Get him out of here...

The men proceed to grab Joker.... While he's taunting the Chief and the City Counsel Woman.....

Joker: OHHHHH Come on Gordon!!!! Just because your so frustrated and forgot how to have a little fun, doesnt mean we all should go to hell!!!! HeH Yo.. Oh Come on!!! OR Thank You!!!! Merci!!!! Many Thank's My audience stands in attention!!!!

Joker is squirming unwillingly, the two men force him into the empty chair. He faces Gordon, and Ms.Quinn covers her mouth. Starring at the deranged mans mangled face. For you see, he's has scares around his mouth, with dark circles underneath his eyes, as if hes possessed, Joker smirks at her.

Joker: Thanks Chief, I didnt know you cared about my needs as a man! Your such a caring man!

Gordon:I care very much, I would say spare us the sarcasm, but that's like talking, to the wall!

Joker: I hope you treat your wife or girlfriend better! Hello gorgeous! How do you like to make love? A little ruff, powerful???? Does that fulfill your security?

Quinn looks at Gordon totally flabbergasted, at the question and the tone of the strange mans voice, she mutters under her breath, “ WoW! I cant believe this guy!” Gordon calls for the men, they grab him, and he continues to talk.

Joker: Oh come on Gordon! Just having a little fun, besides you brought her! I just like to get to know lovely woman, as any gentleman does..... But we Bruce know you want something from me!

Ms.Quinn: Wait! He's talking to us!

Gordon motions for them to put him back in his seat, forcibly they push him down in his seat.

Joker: WOOOO!!!! The little princess get's her way, imagine that? That was a close one! Gordon does your significant other know about this?

Gordon: Dont push me! We are not here to get personal.

Ms.Quinn: Just a few questions.... Please.

Joker:Oh but you want to get personal with me???? What happen somebody blow up a street?

Gordon: We can leave anytime!

Ms.Quinn: It's ok really, whats with your eyes?

Joker: Huh? They What with em???? Really Im fine, what about you?

Ms:Quinn: Ok enough! Someone knocked off a jewelry store, did you have anything to do with this?

Joker: I think we are in the midst among a wide circumference! Spinning on a Axis! Understand?

Gordon: What are you hiding?

Joker: Nothing, that we dont all already know! News Travels fast, you should know that!

Gordon and Quinn look surprised....

 

Gordon: Ill find out if you do know something! I can promise you that, so rest assured!

Joker: Oh PLEASE DO! HEH! I already know Bruce the jewelry store, and now your thinking, did I know, was it my plan, who, what, when, why????

Ms.Quinn: Ok so you know.... Obviously that makes you a suspect!

Joker: Obviously! Like I said news travels fast! But then again the faster, the better!

Ms.Quinn: So are you possessed? I mean why all the work on your eyes?

She instinctively moves closer to the glass catching Joker by surprise!

Joker: Why the eyes are the passage way to the soul! I hope you like what you see! Im ready to go back to my room now!

Ms.Quinn: Why the Rush?

Joker: There's no rush, I just have nothing more to say!

Gotham Joker Style

The man shakes his head as he pulls his white top over his head. He's then startled by a knock at the door. He leaves the room, and goes to answer, when he does he's met by a man who flashes his badge. A conversation then begins between the two men.

Officer: Hi, Mr. Scales????

Scales: Sir I really apologize, but today is my first day at work, and I don't want to be late.

Officer: I apologize, Mr. Scales but this cant wait! Do you recognize this girl?

He shows scales a picture.

Scales: That's my wife.... Is sh......

Officer: Yeah this is very urgent may I come in?

Scales: Yes...please do!

Scales let the officer in, closing the door behind them. Jervis Tetch is then shown looking at his watch outside of Gotham Foods, hes holding his file, and begins to take a walk inside the factory. He stops to sign in and is met by Josh Lance the head manager at the factory. Justin interrupts him as he signs in.

Justin: Hello Mr. Tetch its a pleasure, to finally meet you!

Tetch: It is?

Justin: Yes follow me ill show you around...... The chief says you are more than qualified for many of our positions.

Tetch: I guess....... I just want my Alice.

Justin: Alice?

Tetch: Yeah.....shes my girl, shes away at the moment..... So I do things to bind my time.

They are walk through the factory, Lance listens uncomfortably.

Justin: What kind of things?

Tetch: You know just things to ease my mind..... I do appreciate this Mr. Lance. Im a very hard worker. You'll see....

Justin: heh..... Ok kid..... Well we are giving you a shot, so I hope thats true.

Josh shows him around..... While they talk scenes change to later that day cars are shown driving over the highway, scenic shots of the city are in view. The cars are shown driving and pulling up at the mental hospital. They drive through the main entrance, down a paved road, and see the chapel to the right. Driving down the hill they arrive at the main office. Doors are shown slamming, Ramirez exits the police car carrying, Gordon and Quinn. Gordon exits they come around are met by ton of security as Gordon helps Quinn out of the car. They are shown taking a walk up stairs an d being met by Bill the head of Arkham Asylum.

Gordon: Hey Bill this is Ms. Quinn she will be conducting our interview today, hows his mood.

Bill: Oh as chipper a s usual.....Great to meet you Ms.Quinn!

Ms.Quinn: You too, so just ca....

Bill: Yes Bill is fine, if you Bruceth will follow me ill take you to where you need to be.

They enter inside the hospital, stopping at the main door. Bill presses the intercom button , and gets everyone buzzed in. The walk down the hall side by side, Ms. Quinn is flipping through the Jokers file.

Ms.Quinn: So..... what I gather, is this man has only a homicidal background. No record of previous family, but a alias?

Gordon: Well actually we believe he did have a former alias.... with think his name may had been, Nikki Maxwell, but really names are names..... Hes really just a demon to society.

Ms.Quinn fumbles through the file, dropping it carelessly, catching some papers before they hit the floor. Gordon bends down to help her as Bill stops, a officer is shown on the rooftop. He turns around and is met by Batman, who sprays a mist in the officers face. He grabs the officer putting him in a headlock until he passes out. Batman walks over to the window where he can look into the heart of the old building. To see whats unfolding, he sees Bill and Gordon helping Quinn to her feet, and beginning to walk away. They are shown up close stopping at their desired destination. Bill grabs the keys and begins to unlatch the locks, they enter inside. Batman sees them enter from the roof, at that time he is grazed by a gun shot, which catches him in his left arms. Another officer is seen climbing the building side ladder demanding he halt. Batman walks to the nearest edge, and takes a leap and disappears into the night. The officer drifts closer to the edge looking down, and not find a trace of the hero. Batman is shown hiding favoring his left arm, as blood is oozing from the wound. The seen drifts back to Gordon and Quinn taking their seat in front of the plexiglass. She comments on the supposed shot, she believed to had heard. Gordon instructs Bill to call in the Joker then find out whats going on. At that time the door from behind the plexiglass swings open, one man in white enters first with one arm braced around the deranged being in the straight jacket, then another man enters from the dark holding his other arm.

Batman: He was about five ten or six feet thin.....wore glasses...he had some type of plastic covering long hair....Very brightly brown.

Gordon: hmmmmm...... Doesn't familiar..... Nonetheless ill have the guys in the crime lab draw up something.... Right now your just a suspect, thats why Im not strapping the cuffs on you. We found some of your weaponry, but if you did do this....

Batman: I didnt!

Gordon:That's exactly what you would say. I wish I could believe you, but im afraid I need more to go on .

Batman: Ill get you more to go on.

Gordon: No you'll watch yourself if your smart.... Right now we are considering all options.

Batman: Joker?

Gordon: Like I said we are conside.....

Batman: If your smart you'll leave him where he resides!

Gordon: Oh no worries he's not getting out...... But we have scheduled to consult with him, to see if he knows anything.

Batman: That's crazy, He's not going to talk to anyone.

Gordon: Well its either that or I take you in right now!

Gordon Turns his head as he hears someone coming up the stairs, as the door opens, he turns back around, and Batman is gone! Quinn and ramirez are shown walk threw the door. Gordon then begins to consult with them.

Gordon: I thought I said stay where you were?

ramirez: Well you have been gone for awhile so we thought, we better come up here and take a look. To make sure your ok.

Ms.Quinn: Chief we did find broken glass on the inside by the door... Which is funny, because if it would had been in the explosion, why would it be on the inside?

Gordon: Valid point.... I want to see this.

They all take their walk, scenes change a man is shown getting ready for work, as hes watching the Gotham City News.

Jervis: It was just food..... I was hungry..... I cant help it everyone wears their feelings so high. Besides I didnt mess with anything, that wasnt messing with me!

Gordon: So that would mean the officers who arrested you, and the lady??

Jervis: Exactly.....

Gordon: You ran.....

Jervis: They wouldnt listen....... You never do.....

Gordon: Yeah we do. Look Kid I have somewhere to be, see this file.

Jervis: Yeah.

Gordon: Theres a man at this address be there, early tomorrow give or take about thirty minutes. There is a man named Lance. He will give you a job. But you have to show him your capable.

 

Jervis: Exactly.....

Gordon: You ran.....

Jervis: They wouldnt listen....... You never do.....

Gordon: Yeah we do. Look Kid I have somewhere to be, see this file.

Jervis: Yeah.

Gordon: Theres a man at this address be there, early tomorrow give or take about thirty minutes. There is a man named Lance. He will give you a job. But you have to show him your capable.

Jervis: So what about the charges???

Gordon: Look you work with us. We work with you. Just dont let me down. Im trusting you. Just be there about around four. He'll meet with you about five. Ive got to be going Tetch.

Gordon gets up leaving Tetch sitting, and he walks from the cell. Scenes change men are shown working by a airport terminal. They seem to be loading crates, to men are shown meeting close to the side.

Man 1: They are meeting with joker.

Man 2: When?

Man 1: Tomorrow evening.

Man 2: Does the Boss know???

Man 1: Yeah but hes been occupied....Word is we arnt moving in.....

Man 2: hmmmmm.....

Man 1: Yeah, I know..... Hows everything going here?

Man 2: Great! We are almost finished, and ready to move everything.

Man 1: Good!

The first man pulls something from his pocket, and hands it to the other guy.

Man 1: Make sure you go here when finished, you will get a phone call. Read the directions exactly as follows.

Man 2: Ok ???? Ke....

The second man was reading the note as he looks up the camera shows the first guy walking away. His wearing a black over coat. The other man gets back to work. Quinn and Gordon are seen staking out the remains of the jewelry store. As evening has dawned, and the night has begun. ramirez approaches Gordon in the empty jewelry store.

ramirez: Chief if you look at the safe we found these stars, as evidence. We don't know if he had help or really why or how he chose to use them on his entry to the safe. But the were also found in the cabinets.

Gordon: What about the cameras, did you check the tape?

ramirez: Well surprisingly it still works..... But we think it was replaced, because we are showing nothing. Whats really Bothering us is tracks were found in the snow, entering and leaving.

Gordon: Doesn't make sense..... Im going to go up to the roof... I want to have a look for myself!

Ms.Quinn: Is it safe???

Gordon: No you stay here, see if you and ramirez can find more evidence..... I just want to see for myself.

Gordon walks away, ramirez points him in the direction of the stairs. He finds the door, forces it open and starts walking up the stairs. As he finds his way in the Dark. Watching his step, he takes out a small flashlight, he reaches the top of the stairs, and forces open the door leading to the outside of the roof top. He steps out on to the roof inspecting the foot prints, he kneels, looks up and is startled falling back, as he's met by batman. He makes a movement like he's reaching for his gun, then he decides not to. batman extends his hand, helping the Chief to his feet.

Gordon: You have a lot of nerve, showing back up here..... Everything points to you, so was this your work?

batman: No..... I was setup.

Gordon: How do you explain all the evidence, if it wasn't you?

batman: When I arrived its like the ring leader was waiting on me.... We fought into the street and I was hit by a on coming car!

Gordon: I need a description.

Shaun Bowmans Gotham continued.

Mayor: Ah... well with the new ownership this should be a great fit for everyone! Hurry Gordon! Great to have you aboard Ms.Quinn!

They all get up and adjourn their meeting. Thanking each other, and shaking hands. As scenes shift back to the newly rebuilt Wayne Manor. Bruce is shown practicing his jujitsu in his courtyard. Shirtless bandaged.

 

Alfred walks outside onto the patio, watching him, as Bruce bends in pain trying not to break Meditation, for each movement. Struggling to do so he favors his side in pain. Alfred approaches max, with some warm therapeutic herbal tea, sitting on a tray. He sets the tray down, handing Bruce his glass, Wayne takes the glass, taking a drink as he takes a seat in his hammock. Alfred is standing inspecting his bandages, beginning to loosen them and taking a look underneath.

Alfred: Your ribs may very well be cracked if not broken.

Bruce: The rest, helped but still im having trouble, turning full force.

Alfred: The tea should help, with more rest. Im worried about you. I dont think your body can take much more.

Bruce: Well....That could be but..... We have nothing else to go on......

Alfred: Just be careful because your not a hundred percent....

Bruce: DAMMETT! Thats not a option!

Alfred is startled by Bruce's abrupt reaction.

Alfred: A little testy..... Maybe you should go out tonight..... Relax...... Ya know get your mind off of all this corruption.

Bruce: Yeah.... I will...... Im going back to the scene. Ive got to find out what was discussed today.

Alfred: Your a moving target now......... You know they will be looking for you.....

Bruce: Well.... That's a chance im going to take.

 

Gordon is shown entering the holding cell area. Jervis Tetch is shown laying on the cell bench staring at the ceiling. Gordon has a file in hand as he enters to talk to the young man.

Gordon: Kid your better than this.....

Jervis: I know....Thats why im here.

Gordon: Dont get smart.... We are trying to help you. You know what I mean.

Jervis: Do I Chief???

Gordon: Yeah... so why do you mess with people....why were you messing with peoples belongings?
